Just a quick update on Vernon’s arm surgery.
In short, it went very well. Vernon’s ICP (intracranial pressure) remained manageable and the nurse was very happy with his response to the surgery. The left arm was repaired and shouldn’t require any additional procedures in the short term. The picture below is an quick exam of his right arm that looks fine.

Praise God for all good news. Yes, Allison, my back surgeon wrote on my lower back side to make sure he knew right where my pain was. Steve had writing all over his left shoulder when he had surgery to repair it. Sure don’t want to make a mistake huh. We are so happy with the reports but of course continue to bathe you all in our prayers.

I took pictures of the wall slates that show the date, shift time, on duty doctor, nurse, phone numbers, etc. Was very helpful to have that info handy.
