Happy tears! So happy for Vernon to be able to express his love in words…just wonderful…
Todays email from Allison was the first time the old art school mates had heard about it. We all love you so much Vernon and only so recently, I had finally re found you and told you how inspiring you and your art has been to all us – we who suffered “NAM” with you ( this stands for Cheltenham Art College to you Americans- we called it that because of the brutality of our art crits/ tutors and everyday nervous breakdowns of the feebly minded. The post post post deconstructionists were headed up by Mr Adams and we all use to read an awful lot of heavy books and papers in those days. )
Those who I have managed to contact are as devastated, as we all are , but also seeing this amazing blog site is such an achievement of love and hope and dignity. All in the mix with humour and blazing blazing faith. Lets keep up all the prayers we have with every breath left in us.

Wow, Vernon mentioned Bornemouth, did you hear that? So he remembers his childhood. It might be upsetting for a while that he cant remember anything or anyone from the present, or the recent years, but it will come. Imagine how strange it is having these trangers around that claim to be a son, a friend, and he trusts that they are, but nothing in his memory confirms it. But this is like the bit of movents early on in his fingers, and now he can move his Whole hand. This is fantastic! Lots of love
