Rarely am I at a loss for words… Your loss, your view, your attitude, your ability to Process deep Pain and keep your JOY, your compassion for yourself and others… The last few posts… No Words, many tears … In Gratitude for who you are and who you Allow God to be through it all! I Love you and I am deeply Grateful you posted these last two… I was sad and sorry I could not make it! 💜 You are and Always will be deeply Loved!

Maki,
And you make the type of man your Dad was. Just stay Allison for a while. It will take a while to get over your Dad’s death but remember this that God is always there to help you along as you grow into a man that is so like your like your Dad.
Love to you, Justine and Allison.

The Maki, the one and only. Your delivery on the ‘Don’t tell Ali’ line was genius. Thank you for sharing with us at the memorial. I really liked hearing your perspective. Go back and watch the video of your Dad giving his talk “Free-ness as an aspect of type design” at Libre Graphics Meeting — and watch this video of you on stage. You definitely have a striking similarity in your delivery. I’m sure you’ll discover in your life there are so many things about him you will carry on and were gifted from him. 🙂 You can call on Ben and me anytime, we’re so happy to know you and call you friend.

So precious, his Dad was surely listening and so proud of Maki and the whole family. Vernon left a wonderful legacy. I do wish we could have had him here longer. But we are grateful for the pleasure we had. Especially on Tuesday nights. More Love, Janet
