Dear friends:
Thank you for your sympathy in these last few weeks. If you would be so kind as to share this fundraising link, we would appreciate it ever so much. It’s clear that there will be no settlement with the other driver, after all this time…and the future is (as always) uncertain. Thank you so very much.
Here is the link with our video and information. Just click the blue “share on FaceBook” button. If you don’t mind adding a personal note to your post, it will help. (Or click DONATE, even better.) It’s hard for me to ask, because I know I’ve been benefitting from the kindness of others (especially my immediate family’s) for the past two years. I don’t feel like I can ever pay that back. But sharing the link (and our story) with others would be the most efficient way to help us now.
If you are coming to Vernon’s memorial at Heritage tomorrow, and you get there early enough, this is what will be quietly piped in.
Remember, all are invited. We are looking forward to it. Maki is honing his own speech at this moment. Proud of him, despite the fact I have no idea what he is thinking. 🙂

Dear Allison, Maki, Justine,
I’m so sorry for the great loss for you and the children. There is no way to explain the pain, grief. Your dear Vernon, may have finished his earthly journey, but he has left an imprint on your lives that will last forever. May you remember the good experiences and may you find peace.
Tomorrow will be a gathering of many who have been following Vernon’s, your story together these past two years. Thank you for sharing your journey with us through your journal writings. We have walked in the background holding you up with our prayers; and those who were able, with their love, care, time, devotion, financial means and in other ways.
Thanks for inviting us to the memorial service in honor of your dear Vernon.
Do not fear, dear Allison, “. . . my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
Love and Prayers,
Charlotte Hubbard
Dear Allison,
I sit here and watch Twin Towers that are no longer there and your Justine and Maki were not born at this time. What a sad day for you and the nation as we grieve over what lost in our country and you as you have the Memorial Service for your beloved. Can’t give anything now but our prayers but we will support you and your family with our prayers. We have enjoyed and read with sorrow Vernon going home to be with God. And as Charlotte “God will meet all your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus from Philippians.
Love.
Becky
Allison,
God be with you and your children and comfort you with the knowledge that Vernon is with HIM.
With love and prayers,
