I’m having a great time here in New Zealand, I got a bike and now im having fun riding it araund today weve been to a bmx track and the two little ones maniged to go Down some bumps, and i was of course wering a helmet.

Thanks for the pictures Mr Maki. It is fun to have a little taste of New Zealand life as we sit here in California. And your Dad will have these pictures as a part of the record of his journey to healing.

Hi Maki…I came online tonight, planning to write something, but saw that you had beat me to it. Thanks, Maki Man. You are certainly holding up the story from the other side of the world. You are an important part of our family, no matter where you are! Daddy will be proud to see you out on that bike. Maybe knowing he will have a chance to ride bikes with his son will give him a good incentive to get better faster! And you can make sure he will be wearing a helmet!

Maki you remind me of the days I spent doing the same thing. . . about 45 years ago. Just looking at those little hills takes me back there. Looks like you’re having a blast. Master that machine, Maki!

wonderful update Maki Man, wait until i show Lewis the pictures of you on your bike..he is loving his new bike too. Have you seen the Tour de France started in Yorkshire yesterday ??? ..reaching France by Tuesday, i know your Dad loved to watch that when he could on the laptop….. it will be great to know one day,you and your dad can be out on your bikes together.. love Vanessa,Paul,Aaron and Lewis xx
