I wanted to share a painting I recently made. I’m calling it “The Cloud of Witnesses” because it looks to me like so many souls who have gone before and are gathering to cheer us, the living, on. For anyone who has lost someone special, I hope you can find my small representation of your loved one in the mix of this picture. Whatever you are going through, I feel like they’d want you to push through because even from their supernatural perspective, they believe in you. Take heart!
Hebrews 12:2: Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

This is absolutely beautiful, Allison. It’s like they have already gone through the veil and beckoning us to know that all will be well… it’s all worth it… the best is yet to come. And knowing my loved ones are there watching, and longing. Breathes hope.
Thanks so much, Norm. That means a lot that you “get” it. But then you so often do, I’m not surprised. I’ve been opening myself up to the pain of others’ losses too lately…pulling back and recognizing that there are a lot of loved ones joined together up/out there at the same time. The flip side of the supernatural coin! 🙂

Allison i love this painting .. wouldn`t that make a wonderful canvas or poster/ post card with your post title in one of verns fonts printed over the top … i would have that on my wall or send to someone … you are so very talented , love it and your quote is perfect x

Dear, I get it because we have so many in that cloud o witness. The last to go was our sweet granddaughter and for some reason God chose to take her.
